REfashion workshop - mend & alter

  • BERNINA SG 38 Jln Pemimpin, #08-03 M38 Building Singapore 577178 Singapore (map)

Give your clothes a second life – and rediscover the joy of wearing them.

$240

Have a piece you love but never wear? Maybe it no longer fits, feels out of date, or needs mending. Instead of letting it sit at the back of your wardrobe, why not turn it into something you’ll actually reach for again?

REfashion is built around three principles:

  • REthink the garment.

  • REpair what matters.

  • REdesign what almost works.

All to REvive that which deserves another chance.

REfashion is a creative, hands-on workshop where we breathe new life into garments you already own. We begin with practical techniques, then move into one of your own pieces, reshaping it with intention and direction. Through subtle tweaks, mending, or thoughtful transformation, you will leave with something refreshed, and wearable.

What to expect:

  • Bring 3 to 4 garments you love but no longer wear.
We will focus on transforming one piece, while brainstorming ideas for the others (if time allows) or exploring ways to combine them.
Please submit photos when booking your spot.

  • Basic mending and alteration techniques, from slip stitch, hems, darning and sewing on a button. (professional technique)

  • Guided brainstorming to explore what you do wear and how to refashion the piece to fit your current style.

  • Hands-on support in transforming, mending, or reworking the garment.

  • A calm, encouraging space to connect, create, and share ideas.
