Where Singapore sewists come together
Hosted by Arzelle from Sew on & Sew Forth, Sewing Circles (or SEWcials as I call them) are monthly get-togethers for sewists held at BERNINA SG, offering a relaxed and welcoming space to stitch, connect, and be inspired.
Sewing on your own can sometimes feel lonely - here, you’ll be surrounded by fellow sewists who understand the joy (and the frustrations!) of making. Bring along your own project, and enjoy the creative buzz in the room.
SEWcials are about carving out time for yourself, sharing your passion with others. It’s all about progress, community, and joy.
🧵 All sewing levels welcome, even the curious. (If you have never operated a machine, do let us know)
November Sewing circle dates:
🗓️ Saturday 115th November 2025, @ 10am-12pm
🗓️ Monday 24th November 2025, @ 14pm-16pm
Want to be part of the Singapore based WhatsApp community for updates?
What happens at a Sewing Circle / SEWcial:
Bring your own project you are busy with to sew.
Enjoy a warm, supportive community with plenty of laughs and creative ideas.
Sip coffee or tea as you sew and connect.
All though this is not a workshop or a lesson, you do have access to me for advice, and tips to elevate your sewing projects (no teaching).
Available Machines:
At BERNINA SG, you can rent (starting at $15 per hour):
✨ Sewing machine
✨ Serger (overlock machine)
✨ Embroidery machine (max two per session during the week, not available on Saturdays and only if you have operated a embroidery machine before)
Let us know your preference when booking your spot to ensure a machine is ready for you.
